^That may actually be a blessing.
They might care more about the trucks they need to sell, than the ones they already have.

I know you guys talked about the floor shifter tricking the computer.
I haven't changed my battery and haven't been left stranded, (yet).
I have seen the mssg here & there since the first day a year ago.
After reading this morning, ironically I got the mssg today.
What caught my attention is, I was sitting in it with it off, and the key out. Then the mssg popped up and I noticed my gauges still lit. It did shut them off after the mssg.
Is this what everyone else is noticing too?

My battery saver issue is one that gives me the message, but has never not started. I had the reprogram done where it changes the amount of voltage drop to trigger the message. Since that reprogram I have not had the message reappear (probably will happen today though). I am tired of worrying about being stranded though so I found this little gem and thought I would share. This is way better than carrying around big bulky jumper cables and oversized jump packs.

Got mine from eBay and paid $119.00 with free delivery. The beauty of this too is that it is compact enough to carry in my wife's vehicle if we travel in that.

I've been keeping a trickle charger on my 2013 for the last week. It took about 3 days for the battery to come to full charge according to the trickle charger. It showed full charge for a day & I opened the door for about 10 seconds. After I closed the door the charger said it was charging again. It doesn't seem like it should do that after the dome light being on 10 seconds.

I'm sure it's been tried and I just don't want read every post again.
What has happened when you put in a battery with a higher CCA?
I'm not sure what the CCA's are in our factory batteries. It might be 750/800 anyways.

Well mine has been fine since like last june but after sitting for a few weeks the battery went completely dead, that's never happened before AND it won't take a charge, not even from a manual charger. I think the craptastic Ford battery died. Sooooo... I'll be calling to have it towed in to the dealer, not taking a chance on frying anything. The mechanical charger has the needle pulse between like 10 amps and zero and the CPU charger goes directly into abort mode. I don't want it doing that to the truck's charging system.

I have never had trouble with my 2013 not starting. However, I could drive it a hundred miles, stop at Walmart to let my wife shop and I would stay in the truck to listen to the radio. The low battery light would come on and I couldn't listen without starting the truck. I also noticed that my dash lights would stay on.

Then I thought, the truck is probably waiting for me to get out. So I took the key out, opened the driver door and shut it like I was getting out. Then I punched the radio button and Voila, the radio would come on and play for as long as I wanted.

No low battery warning.

Could be just a good battery day, but I tried that trick and sat in my my truck for an hour and the radio stayed on, no problem.
The dash lights went out immediately too.
