Default Radio blinking and inop

My 2014 f150 has a radio that no longer works. Its the base model radio. The display just flashes the clock. Ive searched and read that solution may just be to replace the unit vs send for resoldering. Can someone help me find the part number?
Also, would a base radio unit from a 2015-2018 fit?

Go aftermarket. You will be much happier.

Too much hassle. I dont want to lose sync functions. And cost is a factor.

Sync is junk. There are so many better options out there. An aftermarket radio can be installed with ease and you can get more bang for your buck over stock. But its your truck so do what you want.

Go to www.pullapart.com and see if they have one local to you, cheapest prices on the planet for just about everything. If not then try www.lkq.com, they deliver and offer a warranty on most items. No a later model radio will not work, different wiring harness and connectors.

Before you do anything, disconnect the battery ground (-) cable for no less than 15 mins, it might reset.
