Quick rims question
Well I'm gettin new rims soon and I need 5" back spacing so I did the little formula to convert offset to back spacing since fuels website only has offset listed and the formula said 5" backspacing is 0 offset and fuels specs have the rims I want listed for 1mm offset. Is 1mm offset also 5" backspacing? I saw the same rims on a different website saying they were 5" backspacing but I want to double check so I know I'm getting the right rims! Thanks guys!

Depends on how wide the rims are.

Off set is the distance from the mounting pad to the centerline of the wheel. Backspace is the distance between the mounting pad to the inside of the truck edge of wheel.
So 1mm = 0.0393700787 inches which is very minimal. With a 9" wide rim you are looking at approx 4.5" backspacing. Your better off with +18mm off set with aftermarket wheels in that size.
