Default Quick - How to check bolt pattern is correct?

I found a guy on a local classified selling 4 OEM Ford alloy rims for a steal. He says they take R17 tires and look pretty much brand new.

He does not know exactly what vehicle they came off. He says he bought them for the tires which he kept and would like to sell the rims. Hey says they are 6 bolt holes and came of an Eddie Bauer edition vehicle of some sort.

My *guess* is that these must be off a Expedition as it shipped with 17" OEM wheels with the 6x135 bolt pattern on late models.

Sound perfect for winters.

Anyone know how I can check to ensure the bolt pattern is right? Will eye balling it just do? Has Ford even made a recent bolt pattern that is 6 bolt and different from 6x 135?

Too good a deal to pass. He wants $250 for them. Except they won't be any good to me if they don't fit!

Here is a picture of the rims in case anyone wants to guess what they came off from and whether or not they will fit my FX4.

i know for a fact that they would fit a 2006 f150. so if the pattern is the same as the 09 then yeah theyll fit. we swapped out wheels and tires on a 04 xpedition because the tires were bald and i had my factory take offs in the shop with brand new tires on it so i swapped em out. give it a shot.

Gents - thanks! I picked up these rims.

I thought it was a steal at $250 CDN since the dealer quoted me $99 each for 18" steel wheels and $219 each for 17" steel wheels! The 17" winters cost me less than the 18" so I saved quite a bit all things considered.

I believe that these are 17" off a 2005 EB Expedition.

Here is a really dumb question. Do I just pry off the plastic Ford Emblem center cap on my rims on my truck to check the bolt pattern? The thing looks flimsy but it has a notch for a screwdriver or something to go in to pry it off to expose the bolts.
