I've been looking around for a topper on Craigslist, and every now and then I will find one, but it's the wrong color. Does anyone know what it might cost to get one repainted? Recommendations for the DFW area would be great as well.

When I bought one for my 2000 silverado, it was ptm, and in 2003 I bought another silverado but different color! The cover fit the 2003 and the shop I got it at charged me $100.00 to repaint it to match!

Hope not. I may make some calls around tomorrow to know what I'm looking at. I always see big price variance around Big D. It's just a matter of knowing who to call. Unfortunately I have no idea who to call.

My ranger was 400 to recolor but i prepped myself and my dad went from ingot silver Fx2 to black lariat was 650 to recolor the camper shell /topper thing.

I would check the trusted body shops in your area. Surely they can give you a ballpark quote since just about everyone knows the size and shape of a shell.

I would expect to pay at least 200$.. if you went out and bought the paitn and clear you would spend damn near 100$. and if the original color is too far from your new color, it will need a sealer as well.

My bad.... I thought you said Bed Cover, like Tonneau! Thats what I had painted not a Bed Cap!
