Ok one more question, at 5-6000 lbs, will I have any problem stopping the camper down a steep hill? My driveway is crazy steep. I pulled my truck at the steepest part and it said the truck was sitting at 13 degrees. I think the driveway is steeper but maybe I'm wrong.

Provided the TT brakes are working, you will not have a problem.

Your biggest issue could be dragging the nose or tail of the TT going in and out of the driveway.

Btw, the trailer brakes take care of the TT, the truck takes care of the truck.

Just make sure your brake controller is adjusted adequately, and you will have no issues.

You should post a pic of what the bottom of your driveway looks like where it meets the road for people to give you a better answer on getting in/out of your driveway. Breaking may not end up being the limiting issue with such a steep driveway.

Sounds good. Sorry guys I'm completely new to this whole towing thing. I had a pop up dragging it with a tacoma. So this is quite a big step for me. Thanks for all your help. I will try to get a good pic of it tomorrow.
