I just purchased a 2013 F150 Platinum and I love the ambient lighting feature. However, I have a question that I can't find an answer to. I was under the impression that the ambient lighting remained on while driving at night, but the ambient lighting on my F150 only comes on when the doors open and then goes off a couple seconds after the door closes. Bummer! Is this correct or is there some setting I am missing on the Ford MyTouch system that would make it stay on while night driving?

 

My ambient lighting is on with the park/headlights.
Go into your settings on the screen to set your preference.
