Default Put into neutral with dead battery

I've snookered my 2012 F150 into my garage with a dead battery. My only solution is to put it in neutral and roll it out of the garage. How do I manually put it into neutral as I cannot do so by turning the key.

There's a shifter release on all vehicles. With console shifter, it's right next to the stick. Not exactly sure for the steering wheel shifter.

Thanks for the comment. My gear shift is on the steering wheel.

Is there any juice at all, the gear shift just needs the brake light circuit to come on to release the shifter. If not enough you need to take the steering wheel off to get to the shift lock.

Are you not able to jump start it in its present location? If you don't have a jump starter, can you call a roadside assistance company to come out and do it?

Not able to jump start as it is parked in my garage up against a wall on the front end and also on the passenger side. Battery is located on passenger side. There is also a shelf about 3 feet above the hood of the truck so accessing the battery is a problem. If I could manage to get the truck into neutral I can easily back it out of my garage.

Do you have a Trickle Charger? you can charge through a Powerpoint as long as you keep the charge small as to not blow the fuse.

I’d still try roadside assistance. They can probably get your truck out of your garage and onto your driveway, then they will easily be able to jump start it there. Then you can drive to your store of choice for a new battery. I would also figure out why your battery died. Was it just old, is your alternator faulty, do you have parasitic draw, etc, keeping in mind it could be a combination of these possible culprits.
