Push bar
person didn't have insurance. when I took it to the body shop they guy said from the looks of the damage that the grill guard absorbed the majority of the damage. if it hadn't it been there it would have been a new bumper, grill, hood, and fenders because I hit them mainly on the driver side. with the grill guard, it was just the grill guard, and bumper plus paint and labor. so around 1400.00. without the grill guard prolly been double if not more. didn't factor in what internal components would have been damaged, i.e. radiator, transmission cooler all the other crap you don't see or think about. but I do like the style of it. it doesn't weigh a bunch and doesn't vibrate around or shake. and around 400 bucks and pretty good deal. plus its unique and I get asked all the time where I got it. need to have it repowdercoated cus its hazy but I haven't had time to deal with it. not very high on my to do list. lol
I don't know about anywhere else, but here you have to be insured to even register your vehicle.
How are these people driving without insurance? Wouldn't the invalid plate get them busted pretty quick?
So yeah, push bars!
Chrome or black :p

Back on topic, sort of...

A friend gave me the 8" lights, and I just HAD to have them on my Neon... Made the pushbar myself, it is mounted to the hard bumper behind the plastic fascia. I didn't really design it to push or be tugged on. But could make better mounting brackets to manage that. 8" lights are 100 watt pencils, 6 LED 30* lamps in the fog light area, and projector fogs next to them. 55 watt projector low beams and 75 watt high beams...
Now, for my S'Crew, I want something tube based for a 40" LED.
PS. I work in the desert. Those monster lights aren't used on the street or highway... The LEDs light up critter eyes like nothing I've ever seen before though.
