You can buy a Ford Premium Warranty online for 100,000 miles for @$1500 or less depending on how many miles you want to cover. If you can get the Platinum for less it might cover the cost of an extended warranty. Go with your heart and get the one you really want or you will be disappointed.

Before you buy, think long and hard about all the eco issues in this forum and others. Be prepared to handle spark plugs often, intercooler moisture, gas in oil, timing chain problems, cam phaser issues, and brake booster/pump failure. Eco value has really dropped... Many on lots and can't sell.
