Default Puddle light ground issues

I have a 2011 F150 3.5 FX4. My truck came with puddle lamps and i installed LED lights in them forever ago. Now I am getting DTC code: B12C2 - Circuit short to ground from the BCM through forscan. Fuses are good, the lights I know are in working condition. I am trying to figure out where to start looking for a bad ground at. My dome light, reverse lights, Map lights and turn signals all are working. Even the turn signals in the mirrors are working. Just the puddle lamps are not. Can somebody give me a sense of direction on where to head from here?
Thank you!!

Does your cargo lamp (white lights in your 3rd brake light) still work? They should come on at the same time as your puddle lamps when you unlock. The puddle lamps are tied that circuit. So I'd check the 3rd brake light first (and it's applicable fuse).

No they do not. I forgot to mention that in the original post. Thank you for the advice though, much appreciated!
