Default Projector Retrofit

Ive got my new projector headlights ready for pickup at Lightwerkz in Clifton, NJ. Can't wait to put them on later this week. My oem 2 month old headlights will be for sale then if anyone interested. See pics below and/or follow link for more pics and details on retrofit.

These were not cheap and I know that there are cheaper options out there but i wanted oem housings, oem projectors, oem ballast and quality work. I also went with Lightwerkz because they have been doing this for a long time, have a very good reputation on quality and customer service, over many different vehicle markets and because they are local and i like to do business face to face whenever possible.

I like the setup. Do you have to drop the housings off? So I'm guessing they do all the work on the housing and install the projector. Once completed you can pick them up and install the ballasts and hook everything up and your good to go? I'm out here in California and contemplating just and HID kit or a projector HID conversion.

I bought mine from someone else. They too were expensive but worth the custom look and light output

I love the idea of retrofit and would love to upgrade but remember seeing it cost something like $1000. That was too pricey for me.

Check out the For Sale section and there is a Raptor owner there doing retrofits using all TRS products and does it for $750 including you sending him your existing lights. He offers several color, paint, and LED options as well for no extra cost. He's building a set for me right now

Well cost was $1700 using oem ballast and bulbs. I could have save about 300-500 without painting or the halos and using aftermarket ballast and bulbs.

Like I said this company's been around a while and does top notch work plus guarantee the aim of projectors and leaks in the housing.

I've seen some other guys for several hundred less but being that they are local to me, a reputable and experienced shop it's worth the investment for me.

Typically the housings are shipped to them and shipped back unless you're local and can drop them off. I went to their office and met with the owner and they have a professional setup going.

Unfortunately my 10 month old son is being admitted tonight into the hospital so the pickup or install may not happen till next week, not a priority anymore. I'm on here killing time and distracting the mind while we wait for the administration aspect of the health care system.

If they are as bright as my wifes MDX I'd drop 1700 on them for sure, unless they change the design you can use them in your next truck too. You can't put a price on being able to see. Hence the Lightforce 240 HID`s on the front of my truck, but they are only for when there is nobody within miles. I need something good low beam and regular highbeam. I wanna try a 55w kit in my spyders but I think the tinted lenses are killing me for usable light output.
