Default Problem with replacement bumper and bushwacker fender flares

I have a 2009 f150 that I am trying to fix up nice. I don't like how the replacement bumpers look that don't come up to the head lights so I got one that comes up to the headlights and I also bought the bushwacker bolted fender flares. Well the flares come down to the factory bumper. I really want both the flares and the bumper on there but I don't know how to modify the flares to make them look good with my bumper and make it look good! Any ideas or suggestions?

How bout some pics? Is your bumper just a steel replacement or chrome/Stainless? If it is steel I would get a plasma and welder and make the bumper fit around the flares, that is much easier to do then try and mold plastic with a heat gun. The plastic will never have a finished look if you screw with it (i.e. cut, bend, heat, etc.)

Again a pic would help...
