Hey guys,

I have a question that's been bugging me since I bought my '13 FX4 used in Jan. of '17.

I have power tow mirrors on my 2013 FX4 5.0. The truck was completely bone stock when I got it and I can't see the previous owner doing nothing but installing power tow mirrors. I checked the 2013 brochure and it said they came with manual tow mirrors on the max tow package.

But the thing is - I don't have the max tow. I have a 5.0 in it with 3.55 gears with the heavy duty tow package. But in my Ford Etis build specs, this comes up:



My question is - does anyone have a 2013 FX4 with the 5.0 and power tow mirrors (from the factory)? My truck is from Canada BTW. I get asked all the time about my mirrors and tell everyone they came from the factory because that's what Ford Etis said, but I really want to know for sure lol

These are the tow mirrors I'm talking about - the super duty style ones. Not the ones without the turn signal (that I think come factory too?)

They were an individual option, also. Certainly possible.

I thought they were only part of a package, didn't know they were a standalone option..but what do I know, I didn't buy the truck new lol.

Glad I can tell people they were a factory option...so many people ask me how I got power tow mirrors on them and I never have an answer lol

I've got a 2013 F150 Lariat Max Tow that I bought used. I have the original window sticker; it shows the tow mirrors as a separate option ($575).

I'm in Canada.

That's the reflection you're seeing. The 13th gens are much more pronounced, plus they went away with the orange reflector I believe
