You know how when you are in line at a drive thru (McDonalds, Chick-fil-a, etc), the sounds from your truck seem to be amplified? Well every time I'm in a drive thru it hear what sounds like the whine if a power steering pump that's low on fluid.

Now, it took me about 15 minutes looking under my hood and then 1 minute reading online to figure out that I don't have a power steering pump.

So the question is, is this whine a normal sound? If not, any idea what it might be ?

 

Take a video/sound clip and post it so we can listen, would also help if you told us what you drive. Since you have EPAS we know you don't have a 6.2l engine, help us help you.
