I have been thinking of adding a power chip to my 2012 f150 with a 5.0 engine. is there really an increase in power and mpg and if so does anyone know which would be the better one to buy.. any help is appreciated

 

Get a SCT tuner from 5 star. You won't regret it. Best money I've spent on my truck yet.

 

Get the SCT Tuner from 5Star. Made my truck drive like a different truck. Tons of more power.

 

You want a tuner/programmer. SCT or Edge brands are the most popular by far for the F series.

Stay away from $70 ebay 30 mpg increase and 100 hp increase tuners, you get what you pay for.


Any decent tuner is gonna run you $300 on up on average, depending on which model/features/tunes you get.
