Default Possible EPAS failure?

My truck gives me three warning lights. electric power steering assist fault, hill descent fault and autotraction fault. This only occurs when its below 45 degrees outside. When its warmer outside i can drive it like normal with no problems at all. I've replaced the battery thinking that could be the problem. Is this going to cost me a steering rack to fix or is there something else that could be causing this?

Is steering difficult and noisy when the warnings occur?

Default 2013 F150 autotraction service light

2013 F150 4X4, 5 litre. My autotraction service light came on and then the next day it was off. When the light was on I turned off the traction button but the fault was still there. Any suggestions? Thanks

I ended up replacing the steering rack for my issue. Fixed it - this can be a number of things, mine happened in cold weather and it turned out to be a senior going bad. It would be good above 55 degrees outside. It still sucked to replace the entire rack for a sensor

Welcome to the club!

I’d love to know how many racks a month a FOMOCO sells.

Interesting to know - I’ve read a lot of posts here on the subject, and I figured there would be a lot of them.

Because people that do not have a problem with their truck often do not join forums to complain or look for help. Everything in forums is condensed on that aspect.

Trudat Rnlcomp. You never hear complaints on forums from people not having trouble....

Having said that, I did have to replace my rack this year (and intermediate steering shaft)
