Default Popping Noise

Pulling into a gas station today I turned my wheels sharp to the left and heard a loud pop. My truck is a 2014 4x4 with a 2 inch leveling kit and 305/55r20 nitto terra grapplers. I heard nothing else on my hour drive home but I don't want it to be a problem with the IWE

Mine does same thing. 2.5" level. Pops when I have the wheel completely turned.

Mine does the same thing also. I've heard of greasing the bump stop to stop this?? Where is it located though?

On your lower control arms. There is one facing the front and one facing the rear on each LCA.

This^ Mine made that noise stock. I literally just sprayed the bump stops with WD-40 (initially as a short term fix) and it did the trick. Didnt think it would work but I had forgotten about it until coming across this thread lol. Its been probably 3 or 4 months.

Thanks NASTY! Can't believe it's something as simple as that

I have ever a 2014 fx4 with 6" lift and mine was popping like crazy..tried the grease trick and this worked short term. I finally went to the parts and purchased some regular old heater hose. You need to get a piece that fits very tight on the barbed side of the of the bump stop. Cut it about 2" longer than the barb, slide in on the barb and viola..problem solved. I have not had the popping noise since.
