Default Playing dvds

Is there a way to play dvds while in drive. Just so everyone knows I'm not trying to watch movies while driving it is for my daughter. Thanks in advance for any info.

man that sucks! you spend all that money on a nav/dvd system
then you gotta spend another $250 to even get some pleasure out of it!

does this happen with aftermarket screen head units too?

To play on aftermarket head units you have to just ground out the parking break wire I have a pioneer xdvd3000
