I just bought a 2011 F150. XLT with XTR pkg (Canada.. i think equal to the XLT Chrome in the US). The grille is a 6 bar chrome with chrome surround. also the bumpers are chrome.
I'm thinking of doing the bumper and the grille surround. leaving the 6bars chrome.

anyone know how well the black spray matches up to the tuxedo black paint? Was thinking or maybe adding the metalizer . But I haven't even seen my truck in sunlight yet. as the weather has been pretty bad here in southwestern ontario.

I've heard of people peeling the tape before it dries

I attempted a plastidip job. Wanted to make my step black. I masked off the black plastic piece on the top and ends. I had read all the problems with masking a while back. Well, guess what, it happened to me. Peels chunks off with the tape. I even ran around the edges with a razor blade. So....anyone have any tipes for removing the black plastic piece on the factory steps??

Pull the tape after your last coat before it drys and it will come out great
