Thanks for the ideas everyone. Ended up trying out on my grill surround as well as the mirror reflectors. You can see that the white is brighter than the Oxford, but I presumed it would be. I like the look of the grill surround but am not sure I'm happy with my spray job. Does everyone's surface end up leathery? If was smooth with the first few coats, but got that leather texture after about the fourth coating. Any tips to improve this next time? Thanks

It will feel leathery and sticky for a couple of days but then it gets a very dry feel to it.

Thanks Nayriles, I'm glad that it'll harden. Will it also smoothen out as well as mine isn't smooth at all. I can't get a picture right now, but I guess it's almost like a towel. I was thinking it might be dirt that got trapped in the paint, but wasnt sure. Just don't want to peel it off if it will indeed smoothen out somehow

Nvm:Googled and found out that I was spraying too lightly which produced that weird hairy texture. Oh well, at least I got an idea of what the surround would look like painted. Off to a permanent solution

Going to do a little experiment tomorrow. I PD'd both wheel well liners and while washing my truck this afternoon I saw a piece start to come off. I am going to remove it, clean the area, and then apply PD and see if it will join together with the old PD. Think it will work?

Had myself a busy day with PD!
Did my rims. Planning to do vent rings, mirror reflectors and the chrome pieces around my shifter and front cup holders. Love this stuff!

I find that a lot of members do.. I don't think they realize how little overspray it produces and how easy it is to clean.. I mean the wheels look freaking great! but they woulda looked freaking great with them done on the truck as well haha
