Just as easy as any other grill. Don't remove it. Wipe clean with microfiber and rubbing alcohol. Tape around the outside of it, leaving yourself an inch or two across the hood. Makes it super easy to peel off overspray. Do at least 5 coats.

Great product...used it on the rear valence on my Audi. Once cured, its very durable. Even though overspray is easy to deal with, I'd still remove the grill before applying the product. Just my .02.

The work involved in removing the grill isn't worth it. Put news paper inside and close it over. Overspray on the hood peels right off of you spray it on like you do the rest of the grill. Everything else should be caught by tape/newspaper. Hence, why it is good to spray as much outside the target area as well.

If by chance some specs show up elsewhere, it wipes right off with microfiber and rubbing alcohol.

Definitely do it inside. It should be between 50 and 90 degrees when applying plasti dip or else it will come out all chunky. You could always open the door between your garage and house and blast some warm air into the garage. That should get it above 50.

just tape, clean with alcohol and spray. I too never remove anything I plastidip. part of the reason why PD is so great is that it can be sprayed and peeled right onto the vehicle, making it fast and easy to paint anything. removing pieces to PD them takes the beauty out of the product. good luck

This job was pretty simple did mine under 2 hours I took my grille off. So easy when it was off to get in all the corners. I tried uploading my photos but the app won't load them!

Thanks benny, that DOES look as slick as I suspected it might. I will be forsure doing that to mine. How many coats did you do??

Thanks again everyone for the advice. giving the circumstances I will probably remove it and plasti dip in the basement just so that I can ensure i have no issues with the temperature. (Has been -30 Celcius the past week) I will post pictures when I finally get around to completing the project.!!
