You need some wheel liners if your going to have all black wheels IMO. The wheel well sticks out in the pic.

Default Thanks

I appreciate the feedback. I thought it would grow on me. I know for sure I want aftermarket rims with black and gunmetal finish. Or maybe black with a touch of chrome. I will try gunmetal in a few months!!! I wish I could find a app that would let me take a picture of my truck and try out rims. Thanks for the feedback.

The whole "Your platinum cost $50K, you used a $5 can of plastidip so it looks cheap" is a really stupid argument. If he sent the rims to powdercoat you'd probably like them. Ultimately, they're just black. It really doesn't matter how he did it. It doesn't look cheap because he used a certain product. I can understand not liking the black, but not liking the black because it's a cheap alternative to feel how black would look is ridiculous.

However in a month when that plastidip starts getting chipped and when you ruin the lug nut plastidip, it's going to looks real cheap.

Plasti-dip is amazing stuff and there are some very creative applications. The OP did a great job on the application. However, I much prefer the stock wheel on this truck.

This is a great post here.

Op: I think it looks terrible. But its not my truck and I don't have to be happy with it. Only you do. Congrats on making it unique and keep it up.
