Hey I have 2011 fx4( silver)and iwanna plasti dip my grill .. Just the bars ... Has anyone done it? Please show pics if so

Considering the fact that u can buy a 6$ can of plastidip and do it in 15 minutes, id say just go for it and Peel it if u don't like it

I did my Harley grille almost a year ago. Just the chrome bars. Still looks like I did it yesterday! These are the only pics I could find.

No bug problems or issues in the car wash. I have a thin coat and then 3 normal coats on my grille.

I was wondering that myself. I would like to do the chrome bars on mine, but the bugs here in south Louisiana are killer...I usually spend more time washing the bugs off the front end than I do washing the rest of the truck.

I have had bugs on my plasti dipped grille several times but they wash off just the same as before. I just wouldn't advise scraping them with anything. As I said before, I still can't find one single blemish on my grille since I sprayed it. I honestly didn't expect it to hold up so well. I guess that's why it's such a popular mod.

Bugs wash off with soap and water.
Bug & Tar remover will peel Plastidip...
