Enough already on who, when, why and how to or not to carry in a vehicle.
Raven we understand your "opinion" and you need to start a thread that discusses that, but this is for those of us who want to and can carry loaded in our vehicles and what is the best avenue for us to accomplish that.

Nice rig Kym, but the pink grips on the Kimber and Pink Camo is a little much Just kidding nice setup, i think that I like the inside console mount better for locking ability when needed and conceal ability from prying eyes.
Thanks for the contact information and I will be getting one (biometric) next week upon my return home.

Is there also a way to open manually like with a key just in case.
Lastly, have you considered wireless. Not Bluetooth, too unreliable. Zigbee would be one good choice.

This is really cool. I'm wondering about possible failure to operate. My laptop has a fingerprint scanner that one day decided not to work.
Is there also a way to open manually like with a key just in case. An what about batteries. Is there a low battery indicator? How is this addressed?

Ok I ran your questions by the NRA Sales Manager and this is what she said. "The Fingerprint reader is a "Scan Technology" like what is used at the Department of Defense. It is actually taking a picture of your finger. it is nothing like the "swipe technology" that is used in laptops and phones. so it is VERY reliable. and their is a low battery Chirp when they start to get low, like a smoke detector, so she recommends changing them about every 6-8 months because if you are driving down the road and it starts chirping at you you'll want to strangle it lol. "
As for the wireless technology way over my head. I'm a Sales Manager for Jotto but not in Consumer or Retail sales, (Public Safety & Gov sales) I saw the post and being a Gun nut and loving my holster I figured I would chime in because I love the product. (Mine is Keyed only)
They are running a bunch of promotions until the end of the year, give a way's and a special price on the keyed holster $129. ish.. I spoke with her about anyone calling in from F-150 Forum can get a discount on the Biometric version as well, $299.00 I believe. Below is the Facebook page with the promotions and for more technical info email Ashley Napier @ anapier@nrajottogear.com
On a negative note they will NOT work with Baby Sub-Compacts or Revolvers. I've been begging but it has not happened lol. My Kimber is usually my travel/home gun. My Carry weapon of choice is my Sig P938, would love to have my holster fit my Sig instead, and I agree it would be pretty cool for it to be wireless.
