Default Pistol mount for truck

Couldn't find a thread on this. I have a 14 Screw w/flow thru console. Lookin for options to mount my pistol. Something semi-hidden but still easy access. I've seen the one under the steering wheel, but that's jus too open for my liking. Any ideas or pics of mounts would be greatly appreciated!!

Please note & respect the premise of this Thread. Nowhere did the OP ask anyone's personal opinion as far as if, or when one should or shouldn't carry, so keep personal opinions regarding that to yourselves.

Not exactly mounted but works. Clipped on front of console.

.

That one is my conceal carry so it is rarely in that spot, was just a pic I snapped for the moment, I usually have it small of back.

I usually just put my 1911 in the door panel pocket.

How about having a pocket sewn in the front panel of the driver's seat under the driver's legs, or attaching a holster to the front of the seat. It might require some reinforcement. Should be EZ-PZ for an upholstery shop.

You could mount a cheap holster under the seat to the framework. Hidden there.

Useless in a real life situation.

Car jacker: Gimme your truck or die.

Me: Ok but can you wait a minute so I can unlock my gun vault to put another hole in your head.

I live in the MS Delta. Everybody I know carries in their truck. I always have kept a pistol in my vehicle, as does my mother and both brothers. A few guys I personally know could have spared themselves some pain had they been carryin in vehicle. Its not unheard of to need a weapon at times. Besides, better to have and not need...
