Exclamation Picture request

I am thinking of blacking out my chrome bumpers with plastidip. Does anyone have a pic of their truck with the plastidiped bumpers? Even better, a sterling grey truck.

Also, how many cans should I buy. Thanks

look for the thread posted yesterday about the blue flame blacked out truck. his came out pretty good. I use about 3/4's of a can on a 20" wheel if that gives you a good idea. This includes the inside of the hub and all though. 3 cans should do the grill, surround and the front bumper.
Watch for thin spots, that's why most peoples peels.

I just did mine. Mine's a blue flame though. If you're just doing the bumpers I'd go with at least 3 cans. The first few coats will still show some chrome if you apply them correctly (not heavy coats but light coats). After the first few it'll start to fully blacken up. The more the better to prevent it coming off.

Copy thanks guys. I did see the blue trucks thread. It looked pretty good. I just dont want it to be too much black, which I doubt it will.

That blue was my first color choice and Sterling Grey was my second.
