Looks great OP!

Bought my truck last fall. Had the Pirelli's/stock rims on for about 4000kms/2500miles. Put my winter rims/tires on. When I go back to my stock rims, they are gonna have Michelin LT275-65-R20's on them. cant wait for that....

Being a newb, when I saw the truck came stock with Pirelli tires, I thought that was pretty great. How quick that changed. No way I can justify replacing them, yet. Really nice tires guys. What is the largest one can go without modding?

My truck had 35k on Pirellis when I bought it and I got rid of them at 43k when they had no tread left. Added the bilstein 5100's and 325/60/18 toyo open country a/t II's.

I can't stand the Pirelli Scorpions. For those who seem to think they do ok off-road or on snow/ice have clearly never ran a quality AT truck tire with an aggressive traction pattern. There is simply no comparison. They also suck for towing. While they're rated at 2400lbs each (which is decent for a P-rated tire), their weak sidewall induces all kinds of additional sway and wallowing. Put your foot up on the top of the rear tire and lean into it a few times. You'll see the whole rig move on the tire. Try that with an LT tire and there's zero movement.

I can't wait for my Pirelli delete mod!

Largest for height is probably about 34 inches max. But if you gonna do that on stock rims, then probably no bigger than 275 width. (For me that would be 275 65 20) 34 inch height.

Thats my plan this spring when I take off my winter rims/tires. Going with Michelins M/S2's and gonna do a Bilstein level. But leveling for looks not for rubbing.

I hear ya.. I looked on Craigslist in my area and there's at least 3 sets at any given time. It seems lots of F150'ers are ditching them for better and recouping very little.

I have Pirellis on my Chevy, LT version is fine for towing but I do agree that they aren't the most aggressive tread for off roading or deep snow.
