All the guys that are running the SCT tuner from 5 star what kind of hp and torque improvments are you seeing. I am trying to decide to go with the sct or superchips but on the 5 star website it doesnt show the gains. Any info would be great.

 

Have not dynoed mine but my butt dyno knows it is a whole lot better on 93 with 5 star.

 

I don't have any real numbers but I can tell you it has made one hell of difference! The bad thing is it makes it hard to keep your foot out of it. If your thinking about SCT and a 5 Star Tune Talk to Mike it will the best money you spend on your truck.

 

X2!!! I'm running mike's tunes from 5 star in my 5.0 FX4 and it woke my truck up! Best mod for power and economy (and yes you can gain power AND improve economy).

 

I agree with everyone else on here with SCT tunes from 5-Star. My truck shifts much better and it definitely has better acceleration. The increase in performance is well worth the money in my opinion.

Mike also is top notch in the customer service department!

According to Mike's Dyno graphs, the 87 Performance tune will give you a noticeable torque increase across the band and minimal horsepower gains. The horsepower and torque improves dramatically with 93 Performance.
