payload weight
going to Nebraska to see family and pick up some beef and bring it back to Austin. how much weight can my 2011 eco boost fx4 with 3.73 gears handle in the bed, any real world experience. I will keep track of my gas millage, speed, loaded or unloaded and start and finish etc. just turned 1500 miles with it.
According to Ford,
with the 6.5ft bed: 1890lbs
with the 5.5ft bed: 1960lbs
Edit: these are 2012 numbers off Ford.com/f150, so idk if they are assuming Max Payload Package in these numbers.
Check your Owner's Manual. It will tell you how much you can haul

Weight of your passengers should be considered payload.
