Passenger side blows hot air only

Passenger side blows hot air only
I noticed that my climate control blows hot air (really hot) out of the passenger side vents. Drivers side and rear vents work normally. The climate control appears to work normally. The temp digits change with the controls but the air is always hot on the drivers side.
I just had the wire harness leak on the transmission repaired the other day. Is it possible that they disconnected the battery and this caused the climate module to unlearn its function? I read this on one of my searches.I also think that my trans shifts different now leading me to believe that the battery may have been disconnected.
If none of the above is likely, can someone point me in the right direction on how to trouble-shoot or diagnose which component is not working(actuator, switch, etc).
My truck: 2009 F150 Platinum with 48,000 miles Dual climate zones.

misses 3 on the tree
sounds to me like a malfunctioning blending door.

the reason your transmission is rough is probably because they unplugged the battery so the transmission is going through a learning curve again. I also have dual zone climate control on my 09 fx4. i had problems with my drivers side not changing to the temperature i wanted, it would be freezing out and i would put it on 75 degrees F and it would come out like A/C or vise versa if it was hot out it would be really hot on the drivers side. so i brought it to ford and they told me it was the climate control actuator.. so i had it replaced but involves taking most of the dash apart, so if you plan on going to ford make sure your not gunna need the truck for a couple days.

Thanks for the replies. I guess, more than likely, it's the blend door.
Anyone know of the repair procedure?
I also was looking for shop manual cds. Some are cheap, more for the genuine ford cd. Has anyone used the cheaper ones? Are they good enough for what I am trying to do or should I invest in the real thing?
Thanks again for any input. Regards, Dan

Not blend door
for all that might have this problem. It was not the blend door.It was a small motor that controls it or another door. Part # AL3Z 19E616 A. Only center of dash had to come out. Part was only $35. The dealer charged me $235. You could probably do yourself if you know how to diagnose.
