I think it's the top corners, if they could smooth those over (and cover the portion of the hood that's exposed) imo it would look a lot better ... not sure why they'd need to have left it like that (?)

I just checked the ebay listing for the raptoid grille/boost bars that I got - wow it went up $200 ... yeah I wouldn't have paid over $400 for it glad I got one when I did

Where did you wire your front three lights into? Your comment about having the dealer enable the front running lights sparked my curiosity? I just spliced mine into my running lights behind the right headlight.

I'm going to do it the same way, tapping into the side marker lights. I'm actually out doing it right now.

Done

Has anyone thought of buying the bumper for it as well? There's a package deal on Amazon for $995. Thoughts?

I've had the bumper/grill combo saved in my amazon cart for months now.. haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Looks great!
Good work on the DODD to FORD letter fab. Was impressed how good it came out & it looks bad *** with the lights on. The colour is a bit off, on the letters though. Would it be hard to paint the "O' & "D" to match? Only other thing I would change, is the red behind the top. Maybe a quick grille removal and a splash of plastidip. Would hide that red, and make it look factory instead of aftermarket.

Thank you, it was time consuming but totally worth it to me in the end.

Yeah the color is a shade off, but it didn't bother me enough (for now) to take the time and tape everything off and sand, prime and paint the other letters. As for as the red on the top goes I definitely want to fix that asap but there's too much o.t. (stone garden) to be had at the moment. As soon as I have time I will pull the grill and paint the top or fill in the honeycomb with something to match the other fulled in areas along the top and probably finish coloring the "o" and "d" to match.

One thing that gets me though is I broke one of the tabs off this grill during the install so I'm hesitant to remove it again. On a side note I will have the original chrome c clamp grill without any broken tabs for sale soon.

I think tinted headlights would look better than clear ones.

I'm in the process of getting everything ready to retrofit the headlights. Still not sure on the shrouds though, either Apollo (2 or 3) or g37 from trs. It's a big headlight and the fxr I have ate the 2.5" original version.
