Painted the tailpipe tip.
So whoever decided they needed to spot weld the band around the tip to it needs to be shot. Took me 15 minutes of wiggling the damn thing off the pipe.
I sprayed it with DuraCoat which is a firearm finish. Stuff is super tough and takes a beating, and is safe for high temp. I also sprayed as much of the pipe itself as you can see from behind and in the wheel well. With everything black on the truck the silver pipe looks out of place.
Will post pictures once its back on the truck. Needs to cure overnight. It's pretty much a perfect match for the matte finish of my 20's.
