Default Painted my emblems

Used fishing line, heat gun, plastic razor blades and turtle wax adhesive remover for removal. Painted with krylon fusion for plastic in a satin black. Washed and waxed while paint dried, then used 3m emblem tape to put them back on. The factory emblem tape was a b**ch to remove! Turned out pretty good though

One more of the tailgate since the original was pretty dark. Also, I removed my ecoboost emblems!

Now, how do I remove the orange reflectors for paint? I researched that they just "pop out", but when I moved my mirror glass to take a look inside, it looks like there might be a torx screw holding it on?

There aren't any screws holding them. Just take a small flat tip screw driver and pry them out. Usually when I do something like this I put a layer of tape over the tip of the screwdriver.

Yeah, thanks! I figured it out shortly after asking. I removed the screw that looked like it was holding it in to find out it wasn't, them just pryed them off with a flat tip. Now to paint em...
