Default Painted Door Pillar Post Between Windows?

Anyone painted their black door pillar posts to match their truck color? I have a white screw, and for some reason the black pillar posts between front and rear windows does not look right to me. I'm thinking it might be better to match the body color. The before and after is not my truck...its an example I found at another site. I'd be interested in pics if anyone else has done this. Since my truck is white, I may try cutting some paper to the shape of the pillar post to see how it looks.

I personally don't like the painted picture. They do make glossy black b pillars also. A few people have replaced the flat black ones with the glossy ones. I might end up getting the glossy ones this summer.

I dont think they look good painted to match. If you must do something to them imho go with a glossy black otherwise leave it stock

I see several people driving around here with the chrome (plastic) aftermarket cap on the pillar. Especially on a Flame Blue it looks....

Right up there with the Dodge guys who put the chrome (plastic) Ram's head cutouts over their rear lights. Know what I mean?

i think it looks good in the pictures you posted. kinda looks like a 97'-03' style with paint in between the windows. i dont know about the supercrew though. if your white screw has painted door handles and mirror caps like mine, i think it would match good

Thanks for all the comments. It appears that most like the black pillar like Ford did it. I may put some white paper on mine and take a few pics. I'm thinking it would look similar to the SuperDuty trucks.

BlackyFX4...mine is all white (including door handles). I'm with you that it might look good. Guess I'll find out with some white paper and tape!

Not sure about the Fords, but on the Tundras the door pillars are painted body color and then black adhesive covers are stuck on over the paint. A lot of the guys on the Tundra forum are just peeling the covers off. Much like you would peel the 4x4 or FX4 decals off
