PACE EDWARDS POWERGATE install

Does anyone have any install photos or tip/advice to installing the Powergate (new tailgate accuator ties into door locks to lock /unlock with FOB)...

I could not tell from their literature, but does the Pace Edwards Powergate actually lock/unlock the OEM lock or does it also apply a "jam" to the mechanism to keep it from opening?
