Hey y’all!
Have a 2013 XLT 3.5L Ecoboost. Truck has 170K miles, recently had truck serviced. All they found was old fluids that needed changed and needed new valve cover casket. Truck has no issues at this point.
On my way home, blow water pump, get towed, replaced water pump. Mechanics say no damage from overheating, should be good to go.
Week later, go into limp mode. Turn truck off, back on, running fine. Check engine light comes on later that night, run codes get P0234 and P0430. Clear codes, truck runs fine until limp mode comes back again. Research and most signs point to throttle body so throw a new one in.
Truck runs great again and then today, back on the side of the road 3 times, throwing code P2112 AGAIN.
Any ideas? Chances that this throttle body is bad as well seem slim. Any insight would be super helpful.

Any chance it could be a sensor?
I just ask in the chance I replace this throttle body and it doesn’t fix the issue, then buy an oem throttle body and that doesn’t fix it. Now I’m in the hole for two throttle bodies I didn’t need.
I’ve read about the throttle position sensor but I’m not sure if that is built into the throttle body itself or an outside sensor.
