I was out at my property the other day and accidentally put my 2011 truck in 4low while trying to back up. It got stuck in 4L and wouldn’t come out. I limped it home in 4L and ordered a new shift motor. I manually turned the transfer case into 2wd and installed. 4H works great but as soon as I try 4L it throws check 4wd message and a wrench. Could I have somehow turned the transfer case the wrong way? I sent back the part and got another with the same result. 🤔
