Oxford white or white platinum

Oxford white or white platinum
I am considering ordering a 2012 SCREW lariat. I am leaning toward a white truck. Which white does everyone prefer? The oxford white or white platinum? I love the black but my first truck (1995 Chevy extended cab) was black and I am not as young as I used to be to be able to spend that much time keeping it clean. But it was still the sharpest truck I have owned.

While my plan is to get the Ebony Black on a new '12; my second choice would be the Oxford White.
But this is why they offer multiple colors; everyone's taste is different.

Oxford White
For what it's worth, my last three trucks have been Oxford White, for these reasons:
1. White paint lasts the longest, therefore looks nicer, longer. Ever see a white truck or car with a peeling, yellowed clear coat?
2. In the unfortunate event that your truck should require body work, i.e., collision damage, plain old white is the easiest to match. And the platinum white is a metal flake color: the way the metal flake lays down when sprayed can make a repair obvious to a careful observer. Pedantic? Maybe, but something I pay attention to.
3. Oxford White looks nice, is easy to care for, and is attractive in it's simplicity. And I can get the touch up paint for the occasional rock chip, etc., at Wal-Mart instead of having to visit the dealer.
I've endured the jokes from friends about them looking like a contractor's truck, or a great big refrigerator on wheels , etc., but accessories (bug shields, nice wheels & tires, etc.) can resolve that.
Either color is good, but I think Oxford White has the edge.

I have the Oxford white and it does hide scratches pretty well and doesn't look as dirty as the other colors. Danonbar makes a good point about repairing the white platinum and it not matching. Even with that possible issue I would choose the white platinum if I get another white truck.
