parking garages at 6'3? for a building full of midgets? that would make me nervous just walking through there. I'm eye level with the top of my doors but the top of the truck close to or even with the top of my head w/ running shoes on.

It's an easy enough thing to measure.
The highest point of the roof is near the back part of the roof at the center.
So you take a 2x4 or some other straight edge about 4' to 6' long. Put it on the roof with one end near what you think is the highest point. Put a level on it to square it up to level then drop a tape to the ground from the bottom side. There's your height.

Mine is a stock 2013 4x4 screw on 295/65R-18 tires with Max tow pkg. It measured 6' 6" measured from a little in front of the third brake light. Which after checking a couple of different spots seems to be the highest point of the roof.
As a rule I stay out of parkades under 7' clearance.

I actually had to look up the exact length to see if my new truck will fit in the girlfriends parents garage... ill be using it to install my mirrors tomorrow

I was able to get my truck into underground parking that said max 6' 5". I have a level and 33's. It was tight though, I imagine all it would have taken was a bounce.

That feeling of driving though a parking garage as your antennae bounces off of everything and you slowly pass under the first few feet once you get into the garage just waiting for your roof to cave in and crush you to death....

I used to work in Dt Chicago. When I drove in, I always hated parking in the garages. Even though I knew I fit it was always a nerve wracking experience.

Few things I found helpful, don't cut the corners on the turns in a garage, those areas can sometimes be shorter than the posted height.
Two, your antennae is your best friend that's a good warning device.
