Default Outside mirror replacement

I have a 2013 F150 Lariat with conventional side view mirrors that currently fold and adjust from inside. I want to upgrade to the larger folding/adjustable/extendable camper type mirrors. I know the kit exists to buy but need to know if ALL electrical needs are already in place in my truck in order to just attach new mirrors and have all necessary power adjustments. Want to make the change myself without taking to shop. Thanks for any help.

I swapped my tow mirrors for regular mirrors when I first got my truck. As long as the features match between the mirrors, you will be fine. They are plug and play. The only exception might be that the tow mirrors might come with puddle lamps. Depends on the model of your truck if they are prewired or not.

The swap should literally take 30 min. Good luck

Swapped my regular mirrors on my xlt awhile ago for the tow mirrors. Really like the added sight lines and versatility. The tow mirrors came from a lariat and included puddle lamps that my xlt didn't have but turns out they worked when plugged in. But to answer the question all your electrics should be plug and play. So long as your truck came equipped and your mirror has the feature.
