Default Outside air Temp Slow Response

Is it normal for the outside temp to take 5-10 minute to show correct temp. Looks like it reads the last temperature from shut down then 5-10 minutes of driving to correct. I believe it effects the function of the AC when on set to auto.

yes, it's normal, I get the same thing in my Mustang and Fiesta.
However it should not affect the AC, as the AC uses the cabin air sensor and does not use the external Temp sensor.

Same here as well on my truck. Seems to be a Ford thing because my other cars respond much quicker and are generally more accurate overall than the Ford as well.
