my neighbour has a 2012 Platinum w/ 6.5ft box and Ecoboost, He uses it to tow his gooesneck trailers and 30ft Fifth wheel. Nice Truck, He been through 2 Right side Turbos within 30,000km but loves his truck regardless as he has extende warranty. Anyways that poor platinum I would hate to have to file a claim on that one, Thee goes his insurance rates lol.

I had an 04 cobra, that saw track time as well. My insurance agent told me that even if I was drunk drag racing it, they would have to cover it bc I had full coverage on it. Driving drunk is the DUMBEST thing you can do, and the insurance companies cover those accidents all the time.

Yep. They just don't have to keep you as a customer after the incident.

I know it varies state to state, but in ga, they cannot drop you due to an accident, or a claim. They CAN however raise your rates to where you can't afford them.

IF you're on a dedicated race track or drag strip, no, your insurance will not cover you. If you're street racing, then they have no choice.

Major mistake. Could wind up costing $40 to $50K in total.

This happens all the time up north. Trucks and sleds go thru the ice often up there. Most insurance companies cover everything, minus your deductible, and any fines associated with it. Fines are based on how long it's in the water.

Sorry, that's incorrect. At least in the state where I live. I checked this with my insurance co before racing my mustang.
