Default Was ok.......Now getting better

MPG that is. I think after 15,000 miles she's finally breaking in.
Not overly concerned with milage but when reading people getting 20-22mpg+ doing 70 kinda makes one wonder.

Anyways I dont do lot of hwy driving and when I do it's towing boat or snowmobile trailer. Which is why my lifetime average hangs around 14.8- 15.0 mpg.

So this past week got to take a vacation and took truck instead of wifes vehicle. And very happy to report I got 20mpg!!!!

Best at one point was 20.5mpg but even after 500 miles on a tank, still was at 20mpg!!!
Ohhh and my trucks a 4x4, 3.73 max tow!!!!!

Here's some pic from our 3 day trip to the UP Michigan.

Sounds about right. 20,000 miles is when my truck started getting better mpg.

I see you have an Ecoboost so we differ there, but I've never gotten the high MPG's some people talk about. Never known why, just chalk it up to being a truck.

Glad to hear mine isn't the only one averaging 14.5-15 with a majority of city driving.

I consistently get 14.8 mpg in the city. That was before the 275/65/20 Duratracs.

Because people lie to themselves to make themselves feel better!

Sure you can eke out a 20 mpg but if you drive normal then it will be tough.

The best ones are "I have 35" tires and a 6" lift and I get 22mpgs all day long", bull****! Lol

LOL no doubt.

That's what suprised me the most I drove normal, not babying it or paying attention to it.
Just couldn't believe I got a whole tank,(500 miles) to average 20
.
Thats pretty cool, I think, for a large truck with that much power!!

I have a daily battle with my truck trying to achieve 17.3mpg. It bounces down to 17.2 and I feel like I have to do everything in my power to get that extra .1 mpg back. Sure wish I saw those awesome numbers others report.

Sharper- I hear ya, usually I get 16.0 back and forth to work.

Now on this trip most of hwy. is 55mph So most of time was doing 60-62mph. With very little stopping is why I did so good on this trip.
Usually anything over 65 kills my milage.

This weekend I did a little trip and got my best mileage yet. Truck has 9500mi I went 120 miles and I got 19mpg when I pulled in the driveway. I have a 12 Ecoboost with 3.73 gears. It has 20" on 275/65 running a Cooper Zeon LTZ right now. Tires make all the difference with this truck. I had 35" Toyo Mt's before and struggled to get 13.5mpg on a good day

Oh yea I had the cruise set at 75
