Default Oil substance coming out of turbosmart bov's

I checked my bov's today and noticed a little bit of an oily substance on the drivers side.. is this normal? Should I be worried?

You sometimes have to give things more than a day... Especially on superbowl sunday.

Is it oil, or is it oily?

I have not yet purchased the turbosmarts. So I can't attest to anything. BUT, did you by chance spill any oil while filling, or checking the oil? did you check the bolt torque to make sure it's correct? and I think there's a seal, did you maybe damage the seal during installation?

If you dont have a catch can this is normal for the ecoboost. The clean side is blowing oil right into the inlet turbo pipe. The turbosmart bov is actually blowing it out so its not entering your intercooler which is a plus

You need to install an oil separator on the ecoboost motors. Look it up on YouTube. UPR makes a good one.

My father put one on his ecoboost. He has the dual can setup and they catch a lot of oil blow by and a lot of water "condensation"! I put a small can in 5.0L and it does a good job as well.
