Default Oil pressure gauge zeroing

drove 100 miles today on my just bought used truck. . 3 times at low speed and decel oil pressure gauge zero and warning light came on for few seconds but didn’t affect the way it ran. 130k miles and I have zero service history on it. Has 1 month old oil and correct hieight on dip stick. Thanks for any help

Model, year, engine, etc., etc., etc. of F-150 ?????

More than likely it's a faulting oil pressure sending unit. But then too .....
  • oil pump
  • oil weight
  • oil diluted by fuel infiltration
  • old oil
    etc., etc., etc..

I have a 2013 FX4 V8 doing the same thing right now. Did you find the answer to the problem?

I’m guessing it’s the fake pressure gauge since it never effected the idle. Hasn’t done it since but I haven’t been on anymore steep hills
