Yes, I see your point rednblues, I never thought of that. However where I live in Oz we don't get temperatures below 0 degrees and that is only once or twice a year if at all. I know of a 6r80 transmission that got water in the tranny and it cost the owner a bomb to get it fixed. He smartly fitted a cooler that doesn't go into the radiator but that was on a F250. I thought some of you guys who own F150s would have fitted an after market cooler.
