Default Oil Change Required msg on dash

I tried searching this but had no luck.

My 2014 is displaying this message at each start up, in spite of it having been done. Bought it used from a dealer of a different brand, so maybe they don’t know how to.

I can continue to do it on the wheel with the buttons, but figure someone here might be willing to share the secret handshake to get it turned off.

Thanks,
Chris

You don't mention any details of your truck but you should be able to scroll through the center productivity screen and find the oil life reset option.

Look in the owners manual, It shows how to reset that message, it's done thru the arrow buttons on the steering wheel and the productivity screen between the tach and speedo.

Thank you! Went out after watching the video, and although the buttons weren’t the same, I put together enough and promptly got it done.

Super service, thanks again!

Chris

Manual is online at owner.ford.com if you don't have a printed one.
