Well I worked in a tire shop for several years, and its like they say it hard to find good help! I would be upset to, glad they are making it right.

Tire shop did this to all four of my wheels on a truck with 2000 miles on it and refuse to do anything about it. I am taking them to small claims court. Happened on good Friday.

On the bright side..... If they let you keep the scratched rim you can buy another tire and have a full size spare.

The shop I worked at was so bad (meaning everyone except for myself) lol they gave bonuses if you go so long without messing ppls stuff up like this...called em safety bonuses. I scratched a couple wheels in my day but they were 3 piece wheels on a loader and the tire was a 25x25 meaning about 6 foot tall and approx. Ten thousand a piece

Not sure what the point is about the mileage on it. You can have a scratch on a wheel w/0 miles. Not saying they did not do it, just saying low mileage does not mean anything. Anyway glad they are taking care of it. I always do a walk-around my truck w/ the service guy before I leave it so there is no ?s. I think the dealers would insist on this so they don't get stuck paying for damage they didn't do. My Toyota dealer won't let you leave a car w/them without a walk around. Say they have been wrongly acussed of lots of stuff in the past.
