OBD key and Rev app on IPhone
Is anyone using this setup to see their trucks performance.
I have the REV app on my IPhone and the OBD key from England. When I plug it in the blue light comes on for a second and goes off.
Neither Bluetooth or wifi seem to pick it up. Starting to think maybe I got a dud. I am just wondering if anyone else has gone with this setup and how it went.

I am not familiar with that model I do however have the Lemur blue driver and it works pretty well,,, I am not sure what parameters yours displays but mine does so many values! Now, the one thing I noticed is that it works on my F150, but not on my Mustang and I am thinking because the Mustang is S/C with a tune. So if you have a tune,,, that may be why it isn't working??? I need to call the company and see if that is the case. But mine will hook up to any OBD2 port for any car,, since I only own fords I have tried it on friends cars and it works.. you can get codes, abs codes and reset them,,, including what I mentioned above
On Android I got this one ELM327 Bluetooth when I had my 5.0 worked right off on bluetooth asks for pass, it was 1234 I also us the torque app. You will need an App to gather data.
I just found this post on another forum
No, you must use an adapter with WiFi. Apple uses a proprietary Bluetooth stack meaning that the creator of Torque would have to pay Apple a fee to use their stack instead of an industry standard one for the Droids, etc. There are a couple apps as I recall for the iPhone / iPad. I do not know how good they are or what their capabilities might be. Bottom line, a BT adapter will not work with Apple products. So Apple is the NEW Micro$oft.

Below is what I got. It isn't cheap, but it does most cars/trucks or should I say any OBD2. I have to call them tomorrow and ask why I can't get all the values from my tuned mustang,,, it still hooks up,, reads and clears codes but will only display the RPMs and speed... I have a Ranger and F150 that works perfectly and it uses Bluetooth however it may be due to what caperji said they paid for the integration.

I might pick up one of those to try since the app is 5 bucks and the unit is 22 - 28 bucks! Good find Caperji! Wish I would have seen this before I spent that much,,, I guess the nice thing is the updates I get and continued support but for a one time buy, if this one works its a no brainer! I might suggest looking for one from USA instead of china and they have them...... use the model number in the ebay search and you will fine the same unit!
